Following the establishment of a Joint Visiting team the London Borough of Sutton has extended the functionality of their Mobile Financial Assessments software (from Data Interface) to cover Housing and Council tax verifications.
Visiting officers use digital cameras to record important documents and the system is integrated in real-time to the council’s Benefits Ready Reckoner; hence a bespoke letter is printed on the spot so Service Users are informed of their likely entitlement.
To minimise back-office administration there is integration with Sutton's Revenues & Benefits system and their workflow / document management system.
Devon County Council is implementing the Care Mobile version of the integrated Residential and Fairer Charging system developed by Data Interface under Project NOMAD. What makes this implementation distinctive is that Devon County Council has a joint visiting team made up of staff from the Council, the Citizens Advice Bureau and the local office of the DWP.
Mobile assessments are delivered as a one-stop process at the Service Users home. Integration with Care Financials ensures that the workflow, billing and reporting requirements are managed as part of the one Service User record.
Data Interface has moved into additional office space at The John Dickinson Enterprise Centre to cope with the growing number of staff recruited to develop and support our solutions.
Roger Page, Customer Services Director commented: “We were very fortunate that office space adjacent to our existing units became available as we have been able to double the size of our offices without the major disruption inherent in moving offices.”
